TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE
The following constitute the terms and conditions of business between us, the Supplier of goods and services, and you, the Client. Please ensure you read these terms before using our services. By using our services, you are agreeing to these terms. Services include anything offered by AAA Plumbing & All across our Plumbing, Drain Laying and Maintenance services.
1. Price. Where a quotation has been given for work to be performed, that quotation remains valid for 14 days. Your acceptance of our quotation / offer must be confirmed in writing prior to commencement of work. We may withdraw that quotation at any time before acceptance.
2. Quoting. Where time is given to provide a requested quotation, this time may be charged to the customer and only deducted if the client goes ahead with the quoted job.
3. Value Added Tax (VAT). All quotations are inclusive of GST. The customer shall pay VAT, included in the price quoted.
4. Payment. Payment is due within 72 hours, unless prior arrangements have been made. Where work is undertaken over a period exceeding one month, invoice will be issued for progress payments covering work done and costs incurred up to the date of the invoice. If you disagree for any reason with the claimed amount, you will respond to us before payment is due. Non-

6. Ownership. Any goods and materials supplied by us shall remain our property until paid for in full and while any money is due to us. If any money remains unpaid or you are in breach of any obligation to us, we or our agents are authorized by you to enter your premises (or premises of contracted work) to recover and resell any of those goods and materials.
7. Material on Site. When you supply the material for the project, all material needs to be on site and confirmed prior to the starting of the job will commence. We need 24 hours’ notice for job planning and confirmation of the material. No responsibility in case we need to stock any material or sanitary ware in our stores from the client.
8. Risk. All goods and materials are at your risk while on your premises or premises under your control. Any loss arising from theft, destruction or damage from whatever cause shall be borne by you.
9. Installation. You shall give us access to the site and provide proper facilities for carrying out the work including use of any existing goods or passenger lifts, cranes, hoists and builder’s scaffolding. Unless specified otherwise, the contract does not include any structural or other alteration to any part of the building. Access and facilities shall be provided within a reasonable time after acceptance of this contract or at a date notified by you and agreed on by us in writing. You shall inform us of any hazards in the workplace to which we may be exposed in working on your premises / contracted job.
10. Time to Completion. We will complete the work within a reasonable time and will endeavour to meet any target date you make known to us. Should it be necessary to work outside ordinary working hours to meet your completion target or due to any other circumstances outside of our control, you will be liable for any other cost incurred.
11. Consents. You are responsible for obtaining any consent or other authority necessary for the work, and will provide that to us on request. Where a building consent is required and you have failed to obtain it, we may lodge a building consent application as your agent and at your expense.
12. Warranty. We guarantee that we will remedy any defective workmanship and replace any faulty material that is reported to us in writing within 90 days of completion of the contract. This performance guarantee does not extend to any goods or materials supplied by you. In the case of work covered by the Consumer Protection Act,No 68 of 2008 this warranty is in addition to any rights you may have under the Act.
13. Strikes, Etc. We are not liable for any delay or damage caused directly or indirectly by weather condition, labour disputes, strikes, accidents, fire, failure of manufactures to deliver and any other events beyond our reasonable control.
14. Variations. Once our quotation / offer have been accepted, no variation to the scope of work or to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless agreed in writing.
15. Service Relocations. Relocation of network, drainage, taps, mixer taps, and sanitary ware will be charge accordingly when it has to be moved to new wall or floor locations. (Charged as an extra)
16. Additional Work (New). In case any points not noted on plan will be added as an addition, there will be a “per point” costing involved. In case any points moved after installation it will be charged as an extra.
17. Plant Hire. In case any jackhammer and/or generator and/or compactor, etc. needs to be hired it will be charged extra.
18. Plan and Specifications. We shall be entitled to rely on the accuracy of and shall not be obliged to check any plans, specification and other information supplied by you. We shall bear no responsibility for any goods supplied in compliance with those plans and specifications.
19. Micro Sites. Plumbing work site needs to be cleared prior to commencing the job and site safe must be in place. This entails that we will not be slowed down by other trades and appliances on site.
20. Privacy Act. You authorise us to use information collected from you and to collect information from third parties for the purpose relating to performance under this agreement.

22.3. Labour can be contract out, if it is agreed on by Owner / builder and will be an extra charge on quotation.
22.4. Diesel cost will be calculated and be added on if job site exceeds more than 45 km’s from office.
22.5. No taps, mixers or any sanitary ware will be supplied.
22.6. Owner or Builder will be Supplying hardware for plumbing final fitment.
22.7. Material used on site SABS / SANS approved.
23. COC’s. Certificate of compliance will only be issued on the completion of the contract and when final payment is paid.
DEFINITIONS
What is a Licensed Plumber?
Persons who has passed the relevant plumber trade test as specified in the Manpower training act section 28 or 13 and / or have obtained a plumbing qualification in terms of the Skills Development Act. Persons written and passed the PIRB’s Licensed Plumber and is required to have the relevant insurance in place. Only Licensed Plumbers have the right to purchase and issue Plumbing Certificates of Compliance.
Many and increasingly more Metropolitans, Local authorities and Insurance Company’s require that any person working on plumbing works within their jurisdiction or being part of their panel plumbers must be registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board. It is illegal for any person who works on plumbing installation if he / she is not a qualified plumber or not working under the adequate supervision of a qualified plumber.
